"Oshe Shango" ritual scepter, consisting of a handle surmounted by a maternity ward. She is kneeling in a sign of devotion to the god of thunder and carries her child on her back. It is topped with a double axe, symbol of the lightning god "Shango".
An old inventory label is stuck on the sleeve. Polychrome wood with patina of use.
