Jean Etcheverrigaray (1877 – 1952) “La Rhune seen from Urrugne” Oil on panel signed lower left L: 27 cms x H: 19 cms Biography of Jean Etcheverrigaray: Self-taught painter, born in Saint-Jean-de-Luz on the 8th October 1877. Building painter, musician, curious mind, he learned to paint with Floutier. He was at the origin of the creation of the Municipal Harmony of St-Jean-de-Luz.
