Object description :

"Austro-hungarian Bracelet, 19th Century."
This very beautiful vermeil bracelet is made up of a central medallion, decorated with a large faceted cut citrine, and surrounded by four half baroque pearls alternating with four citrines, six links mounted with a citrine, either oval or rectangular, are distributed on each side of the central motif, between each element there is a hinge embellished with a small amethyst and two small half pearls, a clasp set with a half baroque pearl completes the whole. The particularly rich decoration is made up of flowers, fleurons, beaded friezes and various arabesques. Endowed with the charm of antique jewelry, this bracelet, which evokes the opulent creations of the second half of the 19th century, bears the P. hallmark for the city of Budapest in force from 1867, a dog's head used for small works from 1867 to 1922 and the master goldsmith's mark bears the initials BN in a square. In very good condition, it should nevertheless be noted that there is a little wear on two of the baroque pearls. Wrist circumference 19 cm
