French school 1821: “Portrait of a man with an embroidered waistcoat”, oil on canvas 64 Traces of signature at the bottom left with a date 1821. A masterful restoration has revealed all the richness of the embroideries of the vest which highlights the white tie held by a gold pin decorated with two red and blue enameled flowers.
