19th-20th century naval officer's sword. Black horn fuse and cast brass mount. Single branch guard with floral decoration with upper part in the shape of a leaf pierced for the passage of the strap. Pommel with floral decoration and melon cut as well as riveting button. Keyboard with the marine anchor slung in a striated medallion center, broaching a bundle of flag surmounting a garland of foliage. End of quillon in the shape of a button and plant branch. Triangular blade with 3 hollow sides bearing marking on the heel of the blade in part erased "Souzy Paris". Black leather scabbard with two brass fittings cut out and engraved with a floral decoration. Leather of the scabbard refinished in new condition.
