Painting oil on canvas measuring 92 x 75 cm without frame and 102 x 87 cm with frame depicting a rich lady of the French school of the first half of the 18th century.

In its formal simplification, this simple image with the unkempt hair with the gaze turned toward the viewer does not disregard the intense expressive characterization of this face, framed frontally but with the full bust.

This canvas realistically and colorfully depicts an important figure of high French rank; it is a work with all the characteristics and stylistic connotations of the great French masters.
The use of blue, gold and white hues in the draperies and the monochrome background make the face of the protagonist stand out, appearing polished and luminous with the addition of a few simple and elegant gestures and precious objects.
