"Knife Of The Royal And Military Order Of Santiago, Spain, Mid-20th Century"
Knife modeled on scout knives or other paramilitary youth organizations between the 1940s and 1960s, probably made in Albacete. The blade is functional, rather wide with a Bowie profile and a saw on the back, which newer versions have abandoned. The guard and pommel are made of nickel-plated metal and the fuse is made up of two plates of black synthetic material riveted and glued. Finally, the red enamel badge on nickel-plated metal represents the Cross of Santiago. The scabbard is not original, it is a French military model for divers, marked Beuchat Sud Marseille, probably from the 60s.
