Magnificent Kerman carpet known as Laver, circa 1880. Coming from a castle in Agenais.
Kerman is the largest city in southeastern Iran. It is the capital of the province of Kerman.

Kirman rugs are remarkably fine, the most appreciated and sought after by collectors.
Although this piece presents a general state of wear, it nevertheless remains a unique piece.
Its pistachio color confirms its authenticity to the “Laver” family, also known as “Raver”, which gives it greater notoriety.
Dimensions: 300x210 cm
Condition: General wear, stains (discoloration), fringes restored on both sides, the carpet is reduced by half in its width.
