Box in burr blond elm, with rounded shapes produced in the workshops of Jura Saint-Claude, or that of Bouron in Grenoble
In 1764, appeared snuff boxes called "Bouronnes" snuffbox tour of great simplicity, making in reaction mode of the economic measures edited by the General Comptroller Mr. de Silhouette; they were the work of a Bouron, toymaker at Grenoble who made the wooden box in elm root. It turned wood work is also produced in the Jura at Saint-Claude
