"Milk Pot Creamer Meissen (saxony) In Porcelain 18th Century"
Meissen (Saxony) creamer in heavy porcelain. The paste is very white and the decoration is graceful, well distributed and the flowers are remarkably pretty. This porcelain has been formally identified as dating from 1765 and painted by the Hörold workshop. The ribbed shape of the body rises to a four-lobed neck, which is uncommon. The lid has the same shape and is also decorated. The knob is gold in color. A gold threas adorns the top and bottom of the creamer as well as the handle and spout. The Meissen marks are in blue on the underside.
Very slight restorations should be noted: the knob has been glued back on, a small part of the handle has been redone and the spout has been very slightly chipped.
