"Viper Skeleton Framed By Gutte Percha"
Magnificent work of osteology.... what patience did it take for the artist to patiently reassemble this rattlesnake skeleton, then place it for an eternity in a curved glass frame, (rare in a rectangle), which was undoubtedly surprised to have to house something other than a deity. The guta percha frame is typical of the Napoleon III period, which accentuates the Gothic side.
