So-called foil mirror with inverted profile, rectangular in shape. Our mirror is richly decorated with embossed and gilded brass foils. Decorated with multiple flowers, scrolls and foliage. Very elegant naturalistic floral decor. Blackened wood base. The mirror is beveled and has kept its beautiful period mercury. the parquet floor is in good condition. Refined work dating from the Louis XIV period (1661-1715). End of the 17th century.
