Large oblong table centerpiece in solid silver by Eugène de Breuck, master goldsmith active until 1932, at 41, Onderbergen in Ghent, Patented Supplier to the Court of Belgium. It rests on a rectangular foot with a plain groove, installed on four large pearls, the body highlighting its gently flared shape, having as a simple ornament a frieze of water leaves in the Empire style, on the foot as well as on the contour of the the basin. Each side is flanked by a majestic eagle's head chiseled in high relief, with fine and stylized details, its plumage richly displayed applied to the basin.
