"Multilayer Conical Vase Signed Daum Nancy"
Multi-layer conical vase, acid-etched signed Daum Nancy with orange decoration. The Daum crystal factory was founded in Nancy in 1878 by Jean Daum then taken over by his son Auguste in 1885 with his brother Antonin. In 1889 they set up an artistic department following in the footsteps of Gallé. The consecration will arrive when the first grand prize for art glass for the Universal Exhibition is awarded to Daum and Gallé. The family saga will end in 1985.
