Brass frame engraved on wooden core, large format from the end of the 19th century. Engraved blade: Fabrica de Albacete en 1894 / Si esta víbora te pica no vallas a botica. Albacete Manufacture 1894 / If this snake bites you, there is no need to go to the pharmacy. There is a wide variety of mottos engraved on the Mediterranean blades, on this example it is interesting to note that the spelling is not that currently accepted in Castilian.

Good condition, minor dent at the end of the handle. Steel, brass, wood, remains of red pigment in the engraving.
