An interesting vase made of cloisonné (cellular enamel) on a brass vase. The unique decoration shows a pair of stylized and ornamental Fo dogs, also known as Buddhist lions and, in Japan, Komainu. Around the dogs are flowers and many multi-colored butterflies.

Height 25.5 cm, diameter 16 cm.

Very good state of conservation, slight curvature at the base.
