Portrait of LOUIS XV. Reprint of the full-length painting of JEAN BAPTISTE VAN LOO by Claudius JACQUAND (attributed to). "Claudius JACQUAND SOUVENIR OF APRIL 8, 1858" Jacquand is a painter from Lyon born December 16, 1804 and died in PARIS on April 2, 1878. He attended the Lyon School of Fine Arts where he won the painting prize in 1821. Several of his paintings are exhibited in various French museums. Oil on canvas mounted in a pretty frame: height 67 cm and width 47 cm.
