Round burlwood pillbox with a miniature engraved by Salvatore Tresca representing "La douce Résistance" by Louis Léopold Boilly and enhanced with gouache on the lid - the whole is protected by concave glass. It is framed in brass with filleted decoration. The interior is gilded with blond and brown horn rims.
