"Large Monstrance Of Saint Eleutherius And Saint Paul - 18th Century"
Pyramidal in shape, our reliquary is made of carved and gilded wood. It rests on a rectangular wooden display base and also a reliquary. The niche located at the base houses a rare bagged ex-ossibus relic of Saint Eleuthère, Pope and Martyr who died around 185. The upper niche houses a notable relic of Saint Paul.
The whole placed on a red fabric, is surrounded by a rich montage of pearls of different sizes, colored beads and silver threads notably drawing flowers. An 18th century Austrian work in good condition - small losses in the frame.
