" Steam Engine"
This engine, very interesting on a technical level, is rather intended for imaginative amateurs who have good control of steam and have a tower. Although double acting, this unique example does not have the classic slide controlled by an eccentric on the crankshaft. A flat rod held on the plate and having a back and forth movement, controlled by a pin wedged on the flywheel (see photo 3) controls the distribution and the exhaust. A piece is missing at the lower part of the cylinder; piece that will have to be imagined and created. I think a return spring is also needed. So a technical enigma, a challenge but the object deserves that we look into its case. Late 19th century or 1900 Stone support, total length approximately 41 cm
