"19th Century Popular Art Cane"
19th century Popular Art Cane. It is monoxyl, finely sculpted with the head of a bearded man. The shape of the wood has been cleverly used. Both sides of the faces are superbly carved on almost flat wood (see photos of the face from the front). Beautiful patina. Long ferrule of 2,56 inches. The entire cane is 35,03 inches long. Dated to the first part of the 19th century.
