This miniature bears the signature of Bacquart and dated 1851. Artist listed in Nathalie Lemoine Bouchard's book of miniature painters. This miniature is in perfect condition, it is presented in its original pressed wooden frame under slightly curved glass with a gilded brass rim. Hanging ring on the back, it bears the annotation on the back "Mademoiselle Hortense Miriaglia. Miniature from the late Louis Philippe period.
