19th century in the style of the 17th century Portugal Bedspread or hanging in embroidery from Castello Branco in Portugal, a renowned center for imports from the Indo-Portuguese Company since the 16th century. A large original fringed panel with three strips of unbleached linen sewn and embroidered with floche silk, mainly in Oriental stitch and satin stitched. Drawings with stylized cartridges decorated with lilies and a large central medallion with birds loaded with garlands. The shiny floche silk is treated in a shade of pastel colors, pink, sky blue, pale yellow and salmon. Partial original lining. No defects, no holes, no stains. Very good condition of color and conservation. Dimensions: 240 cm x 165 cm.
