Extremely rare pair of scrolled dishes with a very flamboyant Louis XV style edge. It is rather rare to find dishes or plates with the Brussels hallmark. In addition, this pair is not entirely sober but is richly decorated with a rocaille motif. On the back each dish bears the four regulatory hallmarks of the time, hallmark of the city of Brussels for the vintage 1760 and master goldsmith hallmark of Petrus Ivens. Weight 1070 grams.
