- Ovoid-shaped vase with flared neck in colorful impressionist slip from Montigny sur Loing representing a stork in a marsh on a gradient olive green background signed in the hollow decoration in the Virion underglaze paste. - Charle Virion born in Ajaccio in Corsica on 01/12/1865 and died on 31/12/1946, he had been for twenty-five years one of the most productive collaborators and decorators of the earthenware factories of George Delvaux and Boué&Petit. - Manufacture de Boué&Petit (1898-1922) signed undercover in black under the base of the BP Montigny sur Loing vase and the number 25 hollowed out in the paste corresponding to the number of the shape. - Period late 19th beginning of the 20th century around 1898-1922.
