Limoges porcelain, magnificent pair of decorative dishes, scalloped shape enhanced with matte gold. With hand-painted decoration representing for one the vine and its bunches of grapes, for the other the branches of an apple tree and its apples, in a shade of grand feu blue. Work of great finesse of execution, signed Marcadet, famous decorator active in Limoges from 1890 and the beginning of the 1900s, he presented his works at the Chicago Universal Exhibition in 1893.
