"Georges Brillouin, Drawing On Skin Paper"
Georges Brilloin is a genre painter, landscaper and designer. He was a student of Drolling and Cabat at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris, where he entered in 1840. He participated in the Salon from 1843, obtaining a medal in 1865. The skin paper is glued by the 4 corners on stronger paper and bears the workshop stamp at the bottom right.
