Théodore LEVIGNE (1848-1912), French painter, student of Jean-Pierre Laÿs, then of Joseph Guichard at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Lyon. Exhibited in Paris (Grand Palais) in 1865. Many museums hold works by this artist: Musée des Beaux Arts de Lyon, Chambéry, Nice, Villefranche sur Saône, Tournus.
