Giancarlo Piretti for CASTELLI editions Beautiful pair of folding chairs, PLIA model in chromed metal and cane fixed on a beech structure. Good general condition, in house condition. The canework shows no fatigue or deformation. Once folded, this chair takes up minimal space. Giancarlo PIRETTI born in Bologna in 1940 studied at the Stalate D'Arte Institute. He then worked as an interior designer and created the iconic, critically acclaimed PLIA chair, which won him the SMAU prize.
