Dino Uberti, a famous collector but also a painter in turn confirms the peculiarities of his artistic making. This depiction and the same calligraphic touch, the same technique at the tip of the brush hints at great painterly skill. Everything is pervaded by an immaterial and two-dimensional texture, typical of Chiarism in a refined post-impressionist type of research.
Both are signed and dated 1931 and 1935

Dino Uberti (Biella, 1885 - Livorno, 1949).
An artist trained in the Leghorn area, he developed a painting of refined naturalist ancestry from the late Macchiaioli fundamentals that still leavened in the sphere of Labronica figurative culture, grafting onto it a strong search for volumetric solidity and preferring densely textured mixtures.
