Raingo Frères 19th Century. Mantel Clock, Black Marble And Bronze Figuring An Antique Woman flag

Object description :

"Raingo Frères 19th Century. Mantel Clock, Black Marble And Bronze Figuring An Antique Woman"
Raingo Frères 19th century. Mantel clock, black marble and bronze depicting a reclining woman in antique style The mechanism works and the clock rings (no key or pendulum) The terrace of the clock has been restored and only the left part is in marble, the right part and the central bar are in black lacquered wood. These three parts are not fixed together and it is the weight of the pendulum which holds the whole together. As a result, the brass strapping in a row of pearls is also mobile (and in two parts but without missing). The plaque above the clock and under the bronze is also mobile and made of wood. All this is visible in a photo. The enamel dial is signed Raingo Frères in Paris, Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes. The bronze represents a woman reclining reading (but the paper or letter she originally held in her hand is not present – comparison made with an identical model). The price is estimated due to the restorations to be planned. Dimensions: 50 x 18 x H 44 cm Weight: 25 kg No shipping, delivery by carrier.
