"Louis Philippe Period Fire Screen In Solid Mahogany"
Louis-Philippe period fire screen in solid mahogany decorated on its upper part with a pretty Louis XIV shell decorated with leaves and flowers. On either side, two tops which are in continuity with turned wood decoration resting on molded and carved snail-shaped cross legs. The tapestry screen is abundantly decorated with flowers, flower baskets and cornucopias in shimmering colors. Some wear due to time can be observed, see photo.
