Goulag Tenderizers... Rare... In A Collection Of 9... Extremely Rare

Rare find.... It's the only thing that can be described as touching when we associate the word gulag.... What a surprise is this array of 3 panels each exhibiting 3 butcher's axes - tenderizers meat from Soviet prisons. I didn't know the origin until today. Several similar objects are found here and there on different sites but none gives me details about the astonishing history of these tools. The shapes are all different, the sleeves just as surprising... multicolored or even flowery.
