Lovely little watercolor representing rue Aubriot, in Paris in the 4th arrondissement. Édouard Aubriot is a watercolorist about whom little is known, but surprisingly around ten of his works representing the same street, from a different point of view, are presented in the back of the Carnavalet museum. They are dedicated, ours is to a Mrs. Vanloo. Rue Aubriot is a small street in Marais, narrow and short with its typical 17th century facades. framing from the 1920s.
