Silver medallion depicting Frederick's II eagle, made using the relief prop technique. In the center is a round cabochon of agate. The object, highly oxidized, made of low-grade silver, embodies the raw charm of the Federiciana court in Sicily in the thirteenth century. (Ex Dr. Cirafici collection)
