Returning From Hunting Pier Van Bloumen

Oil on canvas representing the return of hunting by Piéter Van Bloumen 1657-1720 beautiful atmosphere of the Northern school from the beginning of the 18th century, beautifully crafted with a pleasant and well animated subject of period characters with their horses and the coiled dog on himself in the foreground and very characteristic of Van Bloumen's work. It is on its original canvas and its frame, the central crosspiece of which is missing. On the lower part of found a text written in ink: "Pierre van Bloumen (Bloum) was born in Antwerp he was appointed director of this city in 1699 very authentic" it is amusing to read "very authentic" no frame.
