"Architectural Element Granite Castle, Fleur De Lys, Royal French Revolution"
Probably a piece destroyed during the French revolution, the fleurs-de-lis being a symbol of royalty systematically targeted by demonstrators. According to the family who owned it, it came from a castle in the Loire and the base was recut in the 1960s to be able to place it on a desk. Beautiful sculpture, testimony to our eventful history, dimension 30 high by 20 wide and 12 deep, weight 9.3 kg.
