Pair of charro spurs
Mexico, circa 1900
Silver, steel and leather-
Length: 16.5 cm

A pair of steel riding spurs decorated in silver with foliate scrolls on a blackened incised background. The knurls are seven-pointed stars.
The brown leather straps are decorated with an embroidered fillet.
The charro practised the Charrería - a Mexican equestrian tradition.
