A pair of chiseled gilt bronze candlesticks mounted as lamps from the late Louis XVI period

An interesting and decorative pair of finely carved and gilded bronze candlesticks. They have elegant finely chiseled decorations of Acanthus leaves, florets, fluting, and rows of pearls.
Beautiful, elegant French work from the late Louis XVI period, circa 1790.

Sizes without lampshades: H 11.41 In. - D 5.90 In.
Sizes with lampshades: H 23.22 In. - Diameter lamp shade 11.81 In.

In a fine original condition of conservation, our candlesticks have been converted as table lamps and receive lovely new shades in ivory-colored silk with gold interior. Please note that the base has been drilled and that the inside of the central barrel has been drilled.
Electrification to European standards and the possibility of upgrading to American standards.

We manufacture custom-made lampshades in pleated silk.
