The library of Besançon preserves a set of drawings representing engraved stones whose dimensions, technique, and style are similar to those we present. One of the drawings in Besançon is signed by J. van Werden, and we included the link to his biographical note: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacob_van_Werden
Auguste Castan in 1886 in Inventaire des richesses d'art, 1886 established the notice for these drawings: "drawings made to illustrate the work on engraved stones that Jean-Jacques Chifflet was preparing in collaboration with his son Jean, canon of Tournai, and of which this erudite published some pieces in Antwerp, from 1657 to 1662."
Jean-Jacques Chifflet is an important figure for medicine and erudition in the 17th century. (https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean-Jacques_Chifflet)
