"Navy Compass - Road Compass"
Unsigned [Spanish model] - Date: Late 8th century - Early 19th century Boat compass, dry type. The rose is engraved in intaglio, it rotates freely and the various directions, the north is marked with fleur-de-lys, the east at 90° is marked with plant ornamentation. The brass is stitched around the edge of the box.
