A pair of silver scissors hallmarked "BSE Co", followed by the anchor, the lion and a P indicating the year 1914.
Round-tipped steel blades marked "England", silver handles, rings and shock absorbers decorated with filets and vine branches. The words "sterling made in England" also appear on both arms.
