"Statue En Marbre "enfant Au Cerceau" Italie Fin 16ème - Début 17ème"
Lovely marble statue representing a kneeling Child, holding a Hoop in his hands, mounted on a later marble base. the child, a priori a young girl, is dressed in a light dress with short sleeves and a scooped collar. Beautiful expression on the face, which, like the previous statue, is very chubby, with a slight discreet smile appearing on his lips. Well-defined hair with a middle parting. Region of Rome late 16th - early 17th.Can form a pair with the previous statue.
Statue outside base: height: 31cm, depth 11cm, width 15cm.
Some restorations and losses (notably a piece of the hoop), but they can be seen clearly in the photos.
