Two-headed winged serpent, beautifully crafted work quite difficult to date, but 18th century or before.
Perfectly presented on an 18th century carved oak escutcheon.
Beautiful state of conservation, slightly cleaned and protected by a veil of linseed oil.
The original fixing is present, and can find its place on a door if necessary.
