Artist's Proof, Jean Droit ''you Allow The Elders'' Lithograph Signed And Numbered

Beautiful polychrome artist's proof by Jean Droit 1894-1967, painter and illustrator, creator of posters including that of the 1924 Olympics, writer, officer of the Legion of Honor and 14/18 War Cross. entitled ''you allow the elders'', a hairy man standing saluting other soldiers from different periods, sitting on a bench, in the background the dome of the invalids. From right to left, an African rifleman, a dragon, a young fife, a grenadier, a horseman, a cuirassier... An identical test is exhibited at the museum of the army of invalids in Paris.
