"Miniature And Frame Of The Maison Alphonse Giroux In Paris (1776-1848)"

Largely crafted oval gilded bronze frame presenting, under glass, a miniature of a young woman in bust facing the left, long hair tied in the back against a background of greenery and sky. Frame forming an easel signed A. Giroux in Paris. Note, three small gasp on the miniature (visible on the picture). Otherwise very good condition and original gilding cleaned.
Maison A. Giroux is a very famous Parisian shop very active from the Consulate until the end of the second Empire.
