This is an interesting study by the painter and chronicler of life in and around Paris, who here sketches one of those small, timeless spaces where nothing seems to be able to disturb the tranquillity. It can be compared with a painting currently on offer at the Galerie Ballesteros, which adopts exactly the same viewpoint, open from right to left.
