Workshop of Jacob Jordaens (Antwerp 1593 - 1678)
Double-sided sheet: The Circumcision of Christ and figure studies - A winged woman, a nude male body, two feet, a horse and framing in black stone
Gouache, pen and watercolour highlights on black chalk sketch - Pen and brown ink, brown wash and black chalk 
29.5 x 20.5 cm unframed
Annotated on verso: "Eckhout", "Jacob Jordaens" (probably in the hand of Johannes Rump) and the numbers "26" "027563". 
Slight spotting 
Framed

Provenances : 
- Sotheby's Amsterdam, Dutch Flemish and German drawings, 2 November 1987, lot no. 44 
- Former Johannes Rump collection, his writing "371" on the lower left of the verso (L. 3401)
