Jug, teapot in solid silver with smooth body, spout and feet in leafy scrolls and lid in exploded pomegranate. Ebony handle. Presence of a slight small chip on this one at the base. This jug bears the hallmarks with the head of the neck brace and the master goldsmith CAL hallmark with a lion for Charles Antoine Amand Lenglet. Goldsmith in Paris in service from 1823 to 1842.
