"Donkey Liqueur Cellar - Napoleon III Period"
Rare Napoleon III period liquor cellar. A donkey carrying two barrels and 8 crystal glasses with pretty matching decorations evoking the vine. This charming little donkey in patinated spelter rests on a gilded bronze base; He is covered with a golden cape and two small bells are attached to his bridle. It proudly supports a gilded brass basket on which are placed the eight glasses and the two barrels equipped with pewter taps. This set is very rare in this form and the glassware which is in perfect condition is original.
